Gardening Guru’s is an established company that has been in business since 2010. Me and my team are experienced professionals who know plants, specifically those suited for Calgary’s unique climatic conditions. We offer unique, textured garden designs full of colour that will look good in every season. You should be able to enjoy your outdoor space all year long, so let us help make it beautiful and worry free! We are passionate about what we do and there is no project too big or small. My team consists of individuals who are specialized in horticulture and experienced within the industry. We pride ourselves on providing quality service throughout Calgary and surrounding areas and building long standing relationships with our clients.

My gardening career started at home with my mother and grandmother. I developed a love of plants and the peaceful times spent in the garden. I Graduated from the University of Alberta with a BSc in Conservation Biology. During my schooling, I developed my passion for plants and chose to major in plant ecology / botony. I am very familiar with Alberta’s native species and how plants deal with our intense and often bizarre climatic conditions. I also have experience identifying common pests, diseases and fungi. In addition to schooling, I have spent much of my adult life working within the industry. I am a proud member of the Horticultural Society of Calgary which provides plenty of new opportunities to learn and grow as a gardener.

My inspiration to start my own gardening business came from looking at many properties around the city and seeing much of the same thing. Many landscapers love to use the same plants over and over again because they are “safe”. But there are so many options available that can thrive in Calgary that are so under utilized. I love putting my creative mind to work by designing beds and offering creative suggestions for “difficult areas” which is what lead to my passion for landscaping, realizing with my customers that we could do so much more I established a trusted team and we only grew from there. Gardening and landscaping are my passions and callings in life and I love that I get to help people along the way create a perfect outdoor space where they can thrive and grow. I know how important it is to spend as much time as possible in our yards in the few short months of summer that we get so let’s make it a beautiful place to be!
